A banner ad is a wide rectangular ad that carries a short message and also acts as a link to a special advertising page on our server with a built in email response form, or to the advertiser's own homepage.
The bitmap size in full color is 600x120 pixels. Please make sure that your
graphics are small enough for fast download. We recommend keeping your
graphic file size below 10 kB. Remember that a properly designed large size
ad might only require a relatively small file. |
|
We recommend a help wanted text announcement with a maximum of 10 lines or
600 characters, either at email or the Web part. The announcement on the
Web might include a link to a special job description page on our server
with a built-in email response form, or to the advertiser's own homepage. |

A navigation bar is an identical strip at the top or bottom of every
page that guides the user through the Web site. Therefore it is a good
location to place a high-exposure ad, such as your name, insignia, logo or
slogan. |

A wallpaper ad is a repeating bitmap that looks as a watermark behind the current page. This feature is only available to HTML 3.0 compatible browsers. Watermarks must be subdued in coloration and not to carry too much detail, thus allowing the page to be legible on black and white and 16 color monitors. The watermark file size must be less than 3 kB.

from a sponsor must typically be accompanied by a banner ad in the same
issue of the Journal. |

An email notice is a brief message informing JIBC readers of issue
sponsors, their products and directing them to the corresponding JIBC banner
