Public Sector HR Institute (PSHRI) aims to advance Public Sector HR professionals by promoting and protecting individual and collective rights and interests of the public service PErsonnel Administration (PE) group members. PSHRI is the leader in Information Sharing, Professional Development and Advocacy and Recognition for the public sector HR community.

One of PSHRI's key objectives is to implement and maintain renewed relationship with Treasury Board, by reinstating a normal balance between the employees and the employer in dealing with work related issues, providing bargaining and labour relations. PSHRI is the successor of ANPE/PENA that have successfully resolved between 1997 and 2000 the PE pay inequity situation in the Canadian Federal Government.

PSHRI currently aims to reach 3000 active members, representing virtually every organization within the federal public sector. We are also welcome members from the provincial and municipal levels of public service, universities and hospitals, as well as the private sector. The PSHRI adheres to a Code of Ethics that requires members to conduct themselves in a manner that brings credit to themselves and their profession.

From specialized training to the latest news about public service Personnel Administration and Human Resource, PSHRI provides members with convenient online and face-to-face access to a broad range of advanced programs and services.

As a non-profit organization, annual membership fees flow directly back to the HR management community, supporting a wide range of initiatives and lowering the costs of specialized training and other professional development programs.
